The Shelly i4 Gen3 is a smart controller, able to read up to 16 customisable inputs and trigger anything from individual appliances to full, synchronised smart scenes involving multiple Shelly devices. It's compact enough to be installed behind most wall switches or inside electrical boxes, and is capable of connecting to the Shelly network via WiFi and recognising single, double, triple and long-pushes of any connected physical switches.

The Shelly Plus i4 is an input reader device, and doesn't contain any relays of its own; instead, the i4 is compatible with Shelly Wall Switches, and can be fully customised in the Shelly interface or app to trigger anything from a single device to a synchronised scene. The i4 is capable of a range of up to 165ft, and can be installed in under ten minutes.
