Brilliant value for money

I've now built 2 of these sheds, the best advice i can give is DO NOT follow the instructions to the letter. from experience, its easier to fit the doors then the roof, because if you fit the roof first and then find out the shed is slightly out of alingnment then you'll need to remove the roof to re-align the shed so the doors fit. If you fit the doors first, once they are straight, then fit the roof, trust me, it saves a lot of time and effort.

Cracking little shed!

We bought this shed around 3 years ago, and I can safely say, It has served us well. It took my husband and son a couple of hours to put together, and regardless to the doors being only slightly flimsy, we haven't had any problems with twisted wood, or splitting as in other reviews. We treat it yearly with a good wood treatment, and it is as strong today as it was when we bought it; so much so, we are buying another one tomorrow. Don't be put off by other peoples bad experiences, decide for yourself if it's good or bad - we have been fortunate, hence the purchase of a second shed. For the price we paid, its excellent value for money.

Do not buy - terrible shed

This is the biggest waste of money. The shed is terrible made, the materials is very poor quality. It does not line up when building and the wood had splits all over it before we even started building. Do not buy this shed.

Poor quality

Thought this looked ok in the B&Q store but as potting it together noticed how cheap and poor it is. So many splits a s cracks that I’ve had to fix before it’s even fully assembled. I’m not expecting it to last more than a few months so saving up for a better quality shed now. Seriously, save your money folks and don’t bother with this cheaply made rubbish

Really nasty

Bought this as it looked at the store. Really awful to build. Wood split easily, lots of twisted pieces and the instructions are really poor. Lots of the smaller panels cane off easily so had to re-nail them on. I seriously wouldn’t recommend this pile of firewood rubbish

Don't buy!

Was really happy when I erected the shed and it looked really good but within three weeks some of the wood began to warp and crack. The company 'Shire' who provided the shed are not accepting responsibility.

Hinges and latch ritted through after a year

The Sheds not too bad for the price, but after just one winter all 3 sheds I purchased have their doors falling off as the hinges have rusted through. Its not too much to expect them to last a little bit longer. Complained but heard nothing back

Great value

Very pleased with this shed. Yes it is a cheap shed made with cheap materials but it doesn't pretend to be anything else. I reinforced the floor with some old wood sheets I had lying around just to stiffen it up a bit because I'm storing something heavy inside. Looks good and for this price it's great value. The interior bolts are very flimsy and the hinges could be better but I would still recommend this product...oh and the staff at B&Q Preston were great!

Easy to build, Ok Quality

I bought this shed around 3-4 years ago from B&Q. Worth noting that I've seen this same shed for as little as £120 in store. We paid £129 in store. Check your local store before buying online! Built on my own whilst entertaining a 3 year old at the same time. Goes together easy enough. Materials are a bit cheap but what do you expect for the price? Ours has been painted twice in the 3-4 years we've had it and it's showing no signs of rot so far. The only issues I have had is that the doors sag due to the lack of diagonal bracing on the back. Easily sorted if you're handy. Can't fault it other than now being too small for my needs. I may buy another and bolt them together to make a long 8x6.

She'd made of straw

Very poor quality, wood very flimsy will very easily get damaged. Felt I needed to keep product as builder put it up for me. Will use the shed but will have to be very mindful about knocking sides of shed and especially the doors.
