Beautiful, realistic, cosy fire effect
This really is a lovely electric fire to look at with it's coals and twigs with the 'flame' effect too! The black cast iron fret freestanding at the front has the look of an open coal fire. So good to have a remote control to use from the sofa. When the heat is turned on I can hear the fan but I quickly get used to it and forget about it...so not annoying in any way for me. Delivery was quick and it arrived well packaged......a tip from me following my experience - the facia is not fixed on the front of the fire it comes in three pieces (top and two sides) coloured light grey. The light grey is a protective film sprayed on like paint to protect the black colour which you have to peel off. This is a bit fiddly, start at the cut angle! Once you've done that you fit the facia with the magnets supplied. Reasons for this I was told is so you can change the facia for a different colour if desired. I have to add that B&Q Customer Service was very good in helping me as were Sirocco
