Not suitable for outdoors
The bulbs let water in so there is a nice wee pool of water within the glass bulb. The silver top of the bulb went rusty after first shower. While light was nice cant be used anymore.

Wateproof? Outdoor use?
These lights are awful in all honesty. Big buldky batterpacl, clearly not for outdoor use. Bought 7 sets for a pergola in my garden first bit of rain they are all full of water and dont work - returning this item

Lasted 10 mins, literally
Bought for my 15 yr old's bedroom. Glass bulbs so thin they lasted less than 10 mins. £12 wasted

Pretty Light Set
The 4 little LEDs in each bulb create a really lovely light set. It's quite short length but I've placed them in a bush rather than strung up and they look lovely. Shame they're battery powered rather than solar, but set to automatically turn off after a few hours the battery is lasting well.

They broke before I even got them out of the box! Really disappointed!

Disappointing!
I bought this a few weeks ago, and though the lights looked good in the garden, it would have been preferable to have a multi function switch to include a timer for lights to come on in the evening for say 6 hours, as the 4 AA batteries ran out much too quickly. I wouldn't purchase again but will wait to find outdoor string lights with a timer function instead.

on the box it says splash proof, but on line it says for use outside, so no worries they look extrodenary
