Forest Garden - Larchlap 7X5 Apex Overlap Wooden S

When I purchased this, B&Q said delivery within two weeks which it wasn't and also, when they delivered, the Perspex window was cracked and am still awaiting a new one. In addition, when I had a look round the quality of the work upon delivery, I noticed some of the nails were hanging out of the side of where they were supposed to nailed into. However, overall, the quality of the shed was not bad.

Garden Shed Review - Larchlap 7x5

I bought this produce 2 weeks ago and a friend and I completed the assembly yesterday. Overall the price I paid for the product when comparing to the quality was OK, but certainly no more than that. Personally, I am not that much of a practical person and would have struggled to assemble by myself. So it's definitely a 2 man job! The instructions could be somewhat clearer and better quality screws should be provided and longer than 50 mm, when attaching the Shed to the base. If you are looking to store valuable items, this may not be the best product. The window is a plastic screen, which could be reinforced with metal horizontal strips. Also, 'Coach bolts' were not supplied to attach the main bolt to the front doors. The hinges on the door could do with additional attention. For additional security, I am considering a Shed alarm.

Great Shed

I bought this a month ago and very pleased with it.

Extremely poor quality - AVOID

I bought this shed around 2 weeks ago and the quality of wood and manufacture is extremely poor. Parts of the shed that where supposed to be nailed together had been missed and the nails ran along the side of the wood. Beams that held the roof in place where bowed and not straight. The window hole was not level which made fitting the window difficult The doors where not uniform in shape. The doorway and the wood that supported the door was bent and cracked

Sturdy & mostly easy to build

Ordering - easy, placed in store Contact from suppliers - within 1 week I'd had a text with a link to book the delivery plus a day later a letter with further info. The company only appeared to deliver one day per week in my area so not lots is choice, but I wanted delivery while I was on holiday so I was flexible as to day. Order further in advance than me if you want more flexibility. My delivery happened 2 weeks and 4 days after ordering. Delivery - had a text at 5pm the eve before giving a 3.5 hour window, arrived well within the window. Even though the letter stated that delivery could only be to front of property and kerbside only, they brought it round the back as I'd requested when I booked the delivery Building the shed - pretty easy. The shed itself was up within 3 hours, although the felt was fiddly. Some of the accessory pieces were a bit banana shaped, but it's timber so we managed to persuade it to go where we wanted. The nails provided weren't great - we replaced the round wire ones supplied with some annular ring shank ones we already had and, where at all possible, used screws. The clout nails supplied were also too short for the areas where the roofing felt was to be folded - we popped out and bought some longer ones for where we could use them and that solved the problem. All done within one day Size - a really good sized shed, double doors work well ( one has a batten and turn button attached), window is a bit small for the size of the shed - we may add a small battery powered light at a later date Security - surprisingly, the shed comes with a good sturdy Brenton bolt - I'd expected a flimsy hasp and staple as I'd had with previous sheds. All in all, I'm very happy with the shed, just be prepared to be a little creative with the equipment you use to put it together

Very disappointing

Plenty of problems with this shed. But until almost put up you couldn't really tell. Slats start falling out as nails holding them are too short or just not in the right place. Edging to short or bowed. Window very flimsy and slightly too small. Premium floor is good!
