Rather toxic, possibly not worth it
I bought this to treat an exterior wall prior to repainting. The product did work, in that it removed a slight green tinge that had accumulated over parts of the wall. However, the toxicity warnings on the package made me extremely uneasy (irritant, extremely toxic to aquatic life - not easy to dispose safely of anything you've mixed up and not used, plus what happens to the bits you brush off after the first application?) Now, I'm not even sure the green tinge on my walls is a sign of algal/fungal growth, since my house is in a sunny location and not at all damp. So I gave the rest of the bottle away and just washed the other walls with sugar soap (itself not an ecological walk in the park, but with nothing like the risks of the fungicidal wash). The sugar soap removed the green tinge much better than the fungal wash. I'm sure this product has its place and would be extremely useful if you have to paint a wall which is damp or which you know suffers from fungal or algal growth. I might even use it myself for that purpose. But I think I was wrong to buy it for a problem I'm not even sure I have. Time will tell, of course - it may be that in 5 years' time my first wall will be pristine still and the others will be covered with flaking mouldy paint. I'll let you know.

Fungicide wash for exterior paintwork
Cost is very fair as it is diluted with water. Treating rendered house front prior to painting was hard work but hopefully will be worthwhile but will not really find out until some years have passed!
