You get what you pay for.
Cheap and cheerful, and a bit brutal, with no soft start nor brake. (V noisy) Had to pack the rip guide with washers to get it anywhere near parallel to the blade. Fine for ripping fence or floor boards etc - did a great job, but I wouldn't like to try to cut anything that really mattered.

Powerful
Really powerful motor and does what's required, pleased with it for the money spent, would recommend.

Not quite as good as I thought
Didn't want to spend too much money and have been caught out. The table top is very flimsy and I am replacing with a plywood top. I am now waiting for some mitre gears to replace the plastic ones which can't take the pressure. In a way I wish I'd spent more money and got a better machine.

Very loud, vicious start
This has a very instant immediate full power start and is very noisy, I have been used to a slow start and the blade getting to speed within a couple of seconds but this is completely not so, the blade has like a dead spot where you can move it back and forward about 1cm before it engages with the motor, I think this causes a banging noise when starting up, I even went back to B&Q and a guy opened up a new box and that machine was the same, otherwise for the price it's ok.

Solid piece of kit although.....
Bit annoying the guard is so low compared to the saw. Meaning you can cut about 2 inches less.....safely. easy enough to put together. I didn't get a bag for collecting dust

Light in weight but powerfull
I reviewed several and chose the Scheppach for its powerful motor while being light enough in weight to move easily around my garage / workshop. Some might call it a little flimsy but used properly for the right jobs it is robust and efficient enough for all my DIY needs.

Good product
Works well only real complaint is that the saw guide which is secured on one end, is somewhat unstable on its other end and doesn't allow a parallel cut

powerful
it has been sitting in my shed since xmas, not completly built up yet but i cleared a space just to give it a try on some scrap wood.I must say that this saw was not my first choice but i got a £100 b&q voucher so this was the only one one they had so here it is,I tried a block of wood must have been 3''+ and no problem, cut square and straight with the scale matching at zero not to noisy and the dust fires out the back so not to much in the face, once its warmer I will finish assembly and take it outside and give it a good test. One critisisim,I cut a thin, about 3 or 4 mm,strip and it fell down between the blade, this involved the gaurd and blade removale and fishing with a 12'' ruler to get it out so I removed the plastic support around the blade and made one out of wood with 0 clearance with the table and it cut very accuratlely, this took about 10 mins so glad i have it and look forward to building a sled and giving it a good try out. For the price it's good quality, sheet steel and plastic but if you want cast steel table dig deep in you pocket, you may have read on some reviews that the guide rail is slack and wobbles about,i certainly have, sorry but the people that wrote these reviews saying that ,were not pushing the clamp hard enough to activate the cam lock it is very tight but very good so value for money, cant say only tried it out but if it lasts then excellent.
