Gave no reassurance whatsoever
I'm particularly disappointed that the reader seems to indicate that my walls are packed full of live wires on both vertical and horizontal sweeps even when the wall houses no socket or light switches. There is not even the slightest room for confidence in this detector which alarms continuously. If you want to know where you can and can't drill then look elsewhere.

Unusable
This is the most over priced, useless piece of equipment I have ever purchased. It gives false readings constantly, detects there being electricity on every wall. Absolute rubbish. The far cheaper Stanley detectors are much better.

Not fit for purpose
Alarms all the time. I tested this device on a false wall I built myself. I wouldn't trust it to find anything, Sorry Bosch, this is the most useless tool I have ever purchased with your name on. Got a full refund!

Absolute rubbish
Bought this to locate timber studs in the wall when installing a wall bracket for a LCD TV. Absolute rubbish and a waste of money. Used the device as instructed and 'located' areas where a stud should be in order to drill in there. tested the area first by knocking in a nail - no stud! After 30 mins the wall was like a pincushion! One useless product on its way back to B & Q for a refund :-(

Disappointing, alarms all the time! Even when nothing behind wall only salvation is detects live wires but if you trusted it you would never drill anywhere will bebtaling it back for refund!
