DO NOT BUY

Moved house in July we have been decorating every room . So when it came to the bathroom we bought new taps for bathroom and down stairs loo . Also matching bath mixer taps and bath panel and loo seat. So we spent quite a bit of money. As we have a shower we didn’t have to use the mixer taps until this week when my shower broke. What can I say IT DOES NOT WORK you cannot get a temperature at all. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Looks good!

Does what it says on the box. Fitted myself with no unexpected problems.

Likely to fail on you

6 months after fitting I am afraid one of the taps froze in the on position, so I can only reinforce that this tap is not a great buy. Having said that, the manufacturer sent replacement barrels within a week and helped me with how to fit them (the fronts of the taps screw off to reveal the fixing screw). The repairs were simple to make - so if you have isolation valves on your taps and can cope without a tap for a week then it is not a big problem. There is also a 5 year guarantee so if this keeps happening then I feel comfortable that I can keep the taps working at no cost except my time. Still, not great!

Absolute rubbish -please do not buy this product!

Bought this a couple of years ago. Within a month the hot tap stopped working with only a trickle of water coming through. Now the cold tap has seized solid. Design of the bathroom is such that to get to this and replace I would need to remove basin and take bath out, so they stay in place ad an ornament. We fill the bath with a pipe from the basin. Product is RUBBISH!!!

Avoid at all costs

I've had this tap for a few months and so far it's been a struggle. Hot water is very low pressure until it's just a trickle so really hard to have a shower. Plumber has been twice - he's replaced the washer but after a few weeks the problem returns. Am now buying new taps to replace these. Overall the cost of this plus plumber visits has added up to a fortune - very disappointing how B&Q would sell a product that clearly has so many issues (judging by the reviews). With B&Qs quality control I will no longer be buying from this establishment...

Buyer beware!

Despite reading some pretty shocking reviews for this bath mixer I didn't really have much choice but to buy it since it matches the rest of my bathroom suite and I didn't fancy changing all the taps because of a few negative reviews. The main comment was that the hot tap seizes so this was the first thing I checked when I got them. One turn - fine, two turns - fine, three turns - uh oh! Seized! Luckily this was before I'd fitted them even though I'd taken the previous taps off to check the hole centres. Anyway long story short is that B&Q replaced the full set. Second tap same recital only this time I didn't even get as far as turning the tap because the complete head was loose in the box, the brass cartridge had been sheared off, probably when someone with more strength than I tried to tie it after it had seized. I rang B&Q, got a third replacement and this last one worked fine. Fitted ok and touch wood is still running well. If it does break again I've luckily got two broken taps to strip for spares so hopefully I won't have to take these taps off the bath and make that dreaded phone call to B&Q again. They're a decent set when they work and feel good and solid not wobbly like some of the cheaper ones you can pick up.

No water

We bought this product 2 years ago; within a month the cold tap stuck so that it was either off or full on after 30 mins of twisting back and forth. When my brother and his family came to stay they were unable to get a bath for 3 days. More recently the same has happened to the hot tap. We don't even bother trying to use the shower as it is impossible to get a reasonable temperature. Why haven't we replaced it? we would have to take out the whole bath... Unfortunately at the time we bought it we didn't look at the reviews.
