Big Mac
This is a really powerful (600 watts) electric hedge cutter, yet it's light and easy to use. Great value for the price.

Satisfied
This product is economic and convenient, with a good performance, and I recommend it. I have a large garden, with long and tall hedges, so a cheap machine with a long blade is my requirement. If a few customers found that the motor packed up after a few minutes, that is unfortunate. But what about a replacement of the same model? Don't give up!!

Mac Allister 620w hedge trimmer, a mistake
Awful product. I bought this to replace a Ryobi 600RHT that I bought from B & Q several years ago which was brilliant. Unfortunately B & Q no longer stock this brand so I looked for a model with similar spec & power, and settled on the Mac Allister. The product is nowhere near the Ryobi, the blade is flimsy & chokes on twigs less than half the jaw size. Don't consider this if you have anything more than a small privet hedge.

Great Product for the price
Hedge not been cut for over a year well overgrown, the Mac Allister cut the heavy growth with ease. The angle adjustment is a must have. Nice long lead as standard. We have a 25mtr hedge 2.5mtrs high and cut the neighbors side too. Worked a treat. With the 60cm cut length. Very happy

Excellent
Made light work of a very overgrown hedge, the hedge has various other small trees and shrubs buried inside it and this cutter dealt with them all. I can't comment on it's longevity but so far so good.

Misleading product - blade doesn't tilt
The blade does not tilt up and down as shown in the manual and box diagram. The diagram on the box and on the instruction manual wrongly shows as if the blade tilts up and down to enable cutting tall hedges but this is not the case, onlly the handle swivels round.

Disappointed
Ran for less than 5 minutes then stopped. Switch seems to have packed up. Back to the store... more petrol cost!

Mac Allister 620W Electric Hedge Trimmer
Great cutter, much lighter than my old hedge trimmer which is a bonus but what I really like is the extra long blade. Seems quieter & the tedious job of hedge cutting was quickly over with, I would recommend this product

had a flymo before this beats it by a mile cut through conifers today like a knife through butter .much better quality than flymo . well worth the money.reccommend
