Leaking popup waste
Like one of the other reviewers, I bought these taps along with the Ardenno vanity unit. My biggest headache was that the popup waste would leak around where the flat washer mates with the underside of the Basin. I tried everything even buying one of the conical rubber washers that people on plumbers forums have recommended. the problem is that the conical rubber washer/bung is so thick that it prevents me screwing on the second part of the waste unit (the part with the operating lever). In the end I went to my local traditional Plumbers merchants and got a much more substantial Chrome Metal popup waste. they advised me to use plumbers putty instead of the foam washer for the part that drops down through the sink and smear some Silicone sealant on the flat washer for the underside. Being metal rather than plastic, I was able to screw the parts together much tighter. As for the horizontal rod not being long enough to reach the vertical plunger rod, the plumber told me it was permissible to bend the vertical rod slightly to enable the two rods to couple together. B and Q didn't seem to be able to offer any expert advice, they did offer me a refund but by then I had already plumbed in the taps and basin.

Bought this as a replacement because my hot tap seized up. Just replaced it as it was still a good price.

matching taps for bathroom
Bought this to match my recently replaced bath taps. Stylish design and good looking. My plumber had difficulty fixing but only due to my acess to the sink.

Great quality but problems!
I purchased one of these 12 months ago and used it with a vanity unit also purchased from B&Q - absolutely excellent - no problems whatever. I have recently purchased a further tap and vanity unit (Ardenno) but find that due to a design change in the porcelain (the pitch distance of the tap and waste holes has increased by around 20mm), the horizontal actuator rod of the pop up waste is now to short! I am attempting to improvise but if unsuccessful, I will need to refer the matter back to B&Q.

Good looking but
The tap is good looking but does not shut off constant dripping a Will not shut off how ever tight you try and turn off driving me mad now need a plumber to change not all about the price you only get what you pay for !!
