One good, one not so!
This saw has had a hard time over the past month. It’s been used to cut green oak which I’m building a Japanese Tea House with and it has been brilliant.. However, I bought another at the same time. It was slightly shorter and the teeth were closer together. Unfortunately it wasn’t as robust as it’s bigger brother. I would recommend the 22” heavy duty because it really is value for money.

Stanley - Stanley heavy duty saw (L) 22"
Surprised the handle has become loose and has a slogger on it. There is no means whereby you can tighten the handle! Disappointed as it is made by Stanley.

Excellent for cutting fenceposts.
Recently purchased this from the Stirling branch. I needed something to cut through new garden fence posts (100 x 100mm) and I have to say it was a real joy. I was expecting it to take ages in cutting these but how wrong I was. It sliced through the wood with ease and make the job an enjoyable one.

sharp!!!!
great to have a saw that cuts like it is cutting through butter. Not like the old one that was cutting through stone, so it felt

Stanley - Stanley Heavy Duty Saw (L)22"
This has been a good saw which when cutting into timber it bites in first time. effortless cutting with a nice clean finish. It has stayed sharp after a lot of cutting and would buy again for sure. as of now its still doing its job. recommended buy .Top Tip: be sure to oil your saw and place back in plastic sleeve to prevent rusting
