Really robust and fantastic back up from JCB
I bought the earlier version of this which had a 5 year warranty...after 3 1/2 years of heavy work it broke....JCB not only honoured the warranty but sent me a brand new one....

Faulty
When using the hammer only action after a few seconds the rotation would engage. Returned and brought the Mac Alister one at £15 cheaper in my opinion it's a better drill and cheaper

JCB 780W Corded SDS Hammer Drill
I needed a drill to get through concrete lintels above my windows so my curtain rails could go up. I had tried in vain with my cordless drill for over 30 mins without any success. I was recommended this drill by an B&Q sales person and all I can say is from unpacking & reading the very simple instructions I had drilled 3 holes over one window in less than 15 minutes - Perfect. In fact a would go so far to say it is the best £100 I have spent in quite a while!
