good product
It's a good product that cost too much, because it didn't include the battery... which made it far too costly.

Great Ryobi drill
Only used it a few times, but like other Ryobi product i have the quality is very good. I did a good shop around the internet & B&Q was the best price

Not perfect but not bad either
Really useful tool for drilling between joists but not quite got the power to drive a 4 flute 25mm auger bit through a joist. I bought this as a replacement to the old blue and yellow model that burnt out which had the useful facility of being able to rotate the battery which this new model can't. But for the money its unbeatable, makita want 4 times the price

pretty good, but could be better
So far driill has served me well, my only critisms to would be that the function of the previous model that allowed the battery base to turn was better. Had many occasions so far trying to drill or screw in tight space and battery pointing forward kept hampering me. Trigger on my unit is pretty sensitive, less sensitive trigger would be good, as when using one handed in tight space hard to not overspeed when trying to screw. Other than that think the unit worth the purchase, and on a side note I do wish people would stop posting negative reviews just because it doesnt come with a battery,

Average
Bought out of necessity as I couldn't get hold of a a makita on the day. I had high hopes but was disappointed. Largely because it is not torquey enough at low speed due to a lack of 2 speed gearbox but also because the battery is not designed to help with this tool in mind - hence it limits access where the head can reach but the battery is too big. This is probably the case with more expensive versions but in future i will follow my instincts and spend more.

No battery or charger
Paid £44 for this drill only to find it does not come with a battery or charger and the store does not sell the battery. So by the time I buy a charger and battery for it I could have bought a DeWalt one.

Professional tool at DIY price
I bought this because I'm doing a loft conversion and needed to be able to drill through floor and ceiling joists to pass cables, wires and bolts through. The drill has plenty of power, battery life with the li-ion battery is good and you get full power right until the end. Being able to swivel the battery pack helps gain access to those tight spots. Although I bought it to get in to those tricky spots - I find it useful as a spare drill or driver - saves a lot of time! As part of the Ryobi suite of products, buying the bare drill made this a very cost effective product.

Just the job
Fantastic drill / driver for all those tight corners, esp floor joists etc. Just finished a complete renovation, and this was invaluable in that regard. Ample torque for 32mm holes in wood; batteries (not supplied) last a good while. Mine has taken a real battering and is still going strong.
