LASTED 3 WEEKS
No good for outside use. Ive had this padlock on my gate for 3 weeks and ended up unable to get my bins out or in as the lock had seized up. Had to cut it off in the end.

S&L need to make instructions location clear!!!!
Though the code was the number imprinted on the plastic cradle...it wasnt. No where does it say you have to gouge out the instructions from a secret recess. HAVE A 0NE STAR FOR THE STRESS OF FINDING THE INSTRUCTIONS.

Bad lock
Only lasted 3 months and it’s locked on the password!

This lock is totally unsuitable for outside use
Bought three of these locks to fasten external gates around the premises. Within two weeks virtually non of them would open as they has seized up. One so badly I had to cut it off with an angle grinder. It cut like butter so no deterrent either for a determined thief.Rust quickly starts on chromed hasp near number end down into the mechanism. Spend more money if you are going to use them outside and buy a decent lock.

Instructions not clear
Having bought this padlock, it took me two days to get it unlocked. Its provided with a plastic strip at the base of the lock with a four digit code. This code does not unlock the padlock!!! I googled how to open it but still no joy. I stumbled across a review stating the same problem. The writer had found that hidden away, under the cardboard packaging was a secret compartment with a piece of paper inside. On the paper was a very small printed number with instructions!! The lock itself is strong and sturdy but was a nightmare to get unlocked at the beginning!

Lasted 1 week!
Rubbish product. Set the combination and then it simply wouldn’t open with the code. Had to take bolt cutters to it. Dont waste your money.

I'm happy with the quality of the lock. I needed a coded lock with 4 digits and this suited perfectly.
