Great Safety chain
easy to fit just a few screws needed, I bought some long ones to ensure a secure fit looks smart when fitted.

Waste of money
It’s Very poor design and shouldn’t be on the shelves. The chain ring easily can go through the gap making it not fit for purpose as a security door chain! Waste of money

Shouldn't be on the shelf!
Has design fault. Ring and chain slip through the fastener as the chain is too thin or the gap in the fastener too large, whichever. Returning to store.

Waste of money
Brought this to stop toddler opening door Fitted in a couple of minutes Toddler worked out rattle door chain falls off in seconds Had to hammer to reduce gap Only kept as cheaper than fuel to return it

Don't buy!
I have had one of these fitted to my front door but when I came to use it the ring slipped through the gap, thus making it not fit for purpose. It should be removed from the shelf as there is no way it could act as a security device - totally useless!

completely useless
screws broke in half immediately, ring slips right through the gap so doesn't lock. I have no idea how this can even be called a lock.

Not fit for purpose
As stated in the other review, (which I wish I read before purchase) this chain can be opened very easily as the end ring can fit through the bap. I have installed others like this and that was not the case, and they worked a treat. You can buy this but I would advise you replace the end ring with a thicker version.

Will not keep you safe
I bought this product today. When I went to install it I discovered that the chain slips out its "holding cell" because it is too small. This was confirmed when a friend sent me a picture of her door chain of exactly the same design. Badly made and, as a result, not will not keep you safe. Do not buy.

Poor design
I brought this to open only through the strip given in the middle but through ring also it can be open. Also anyone can open from outside too. Don't buy. Waste of money.
