After several years
This light looks lovely as it is a simple design. However as I have discovered, after several years, it trusts.

good light - but ---
I can only reiterate the review of a previous buyer of this light - good light but - the wiring and the bulky junction box is difficult to wire and is a very tight fit into the ceiling rose - and as previously stated by the same buyer - beware the 3 hidden mouse trap spring loaded retaining clips for the globe - they sprung and shattered the bulb at my first attempt - if is nigh impossible unless you have 3 hands or help. would not have purchased if I had known the problems to fit - AVIOD .

Fiddly install and maintenance
We designed 2 lights (wired in parallel, naturally) off a single pole switch in our bathroom. The screw terminal connectors are in a moisture proof box (so far, good concept) but found it to be impractical to insert 2 sets of 1 mm wire into the screw terminal box for the first light. Also, there are 3 Spring bales that hold the glass globe snug to the housing, each being a mousetrap in disguise. It's tricky to get the 3 spring bales into the globe with the bulb screwed in. The snapping bales and slippery globe makes me anxious when I think about the prospect of changing the bulbs so I'm using long life LED bulbs. The lights are otherwise nice but I wouldn't order more.

Jolly good light
Bought to replace a standard ceiling socket left by cheapskate electrician and what a difference. I fired an energy saving lamp and although it takes a few mins to come up to full brightness it's plenty of light to see where you want to go in the bathroom. The globe shade fits simply on three strong loop spring clips and it's a simple pull down to take it off to clean or replace the bulb. Very happy with the product and it looks great in site.

I bought this one to replace a smaller flush fitting and now we have light!

Stylish and good value
A good value purchase for a vintage style contemporary bathroom. Really pleased. I had to ask my builder to fit it and I'm not quite sure how I'll take off the globe to change the bulb, but it looks great.
