Worked OK but failed prematurely
Did it's job ok, didn't have a particularly hard life, battery life was really poor but I had two - Chuck failed rendering it useless.

Stanley fax max not good.
Purchased this drill on the 4th January 2020 and after just 4 uses putting screws in to wood it had issues. Torque settings jammed,Chuck would it release and power stuttering. B & Q accepted it back with no problems and I purchased a Dewault. Had dewault previously but decided to try Stanley , big mistake. Spend a bit more money for a better drill. Stanley fat max £100 so you get what you pay for. Hence I will never purchase a Stanley tool ever again not even a hand tool.

Good drill
Only had this product a day but very happy so far it happy to sink 6 inch screw with no pilot hole ( I always abuse new tools to see what they are capable of) if I had to gripe about something it would be the charger 2 hours to charge one 2.0ah battery is a joke these days something to keep in mind

Can't fault it.
My 20 year old hand-me-down drill finally bit the dust so was time to open the wallet. I went into store expecting to buy a DeWalt but was underwhelmed by their basic model. This drill seems to be a bargain by comparison - brushless motor a big plus. Has done a couple of jobs round the house no problems, seems very capable. The battery is half the weight of my dead drill (same Ah), the march of technology, eh. The LED light is a handy addition too. Downsides: the forward - lock - reverse button is wishy washy, could use being much more snappy. Registering for the extended warranty is a rigmarole but now printed I'll just tuck it in the box forever. Glad I gave it a shot.

Rubbish
Not very well made compared to dewalt I had before the drill got stuck on hammer after 1 year and when I spoke to someone in store they were less than helpful I also got the impact driver at the same time it now stopped working too Don’t waste your money on these unless you want to us them once in a blue moon

Steer clear
I've had two of these, they work fantastic for about 6 months then the locking/unlocking mechanism stops working, has happened to both of mine. Shame.

Brushless drill
First impressionregestering for 2 year guarantee was not good, the fatmax web site was not operational, phoned to advise and register by alternative method, the help line was no help at all. Wasted several hours; not a good start. Tried another day, lots of unnecessary questions, but got to the end. The drill is fine, like 2 batteries, hand tighten chuck is good, power good, not had it too long, so don't know how long it will last.

Compact and powerful
Purchased to replace older cordless drill. Used to erect new shed. Drilled pilot holes and inserted screws with ease.

Combi drill
Been after a good combi drill for a while and this didn't disappoint. Good feel in hand and impressive drill light allow for precision work.
