Pretlty pleased with these cameras
I was lucky getting them as a special reduced item but the reccommended retail price is a bit heavy. They work exactly as advertised and were very easy to install. The reproduction is also pretty good with clear definition certainly in daylight. Night is also just acceptable. Obviously as a battery powered unit the floodlight is not anything like a mains powered unit. Am I pleased I bought them, yes I am as they serve as a good security product protecting our property when we are out. I also draw attention to the separate hub which I think is superior to other models that have a memory card in the unit which could be removed by an intruder therefore negating the available evidence. Just a point but it was one which I considered essential. The zones are very easy to set for AI recognition and all in all they are pretty good. Finally check on-line prices which can be more favourable.

TAPO 420S OUTDOOR SECURITY CAMERAS
This is generally a good product, with various settings to fit what is individually required. However, the pet detection has only worked once in 1 1/2 weeks - when one of my cats was being chased rapidly by a bigger cat! And the person detection notification is actually often a car - though of course it is hoped there is someone driving these vehicles! 😊 Despite setting the cameras at the required angle, because I live in a high rainfall area, one of the cameras will get covered in water during heavy rainfall, so especially at night it can be very limiting on vision, though I have found that turning the camera lights on helps. I contacted Tapo to see if they can advise on any camera hoods but have not yet received a reply, so I might well fashion something myself. Overall I am very pleased with the cameras though and I especially recommend getting the solar panel, particularly if you have a lot of movement around the specified area.
