Worst tarmac ever used
The tarmac is not permanent but temporary, despite what stated on the bags. After 1 month, rain, and cool weather it is still as soft as when I laid it.

Much much better than expected.
I used this product a couple of weeks ago and since had loaded HGV's drive over it. OK, it's only a couple of weeks, but I am seriously impressed with the way it was easy to use straight out of the bag and has hardened quickly. I didn't use the B&Q bitumen pre spray, as I got a can 5x the size for just £16 elsewhere. I used a sledge hammer to compact it down easily. Even the thin layers where it was a shallow fill have done very well under the lorries. My only issue is that it isn't available in all stores and click & collect doesn't apply to stock being transferred to a preferred local branch. But the product hardens well and I rate it highly for value for money, ease of use and so far durability.
