Bright bright light
Packaging says not dimmable. Has anyone’s electrician succeeded in making it dimmable?

Amazing product
We choose this product because it stood out from the rest and looked impressive. It is also close to the ceiling fitting wise which we needed as we have low ceilings in our new bungalow. We purchased 2 as a matching pair for lounge and dining room and plan to fir very soon once bungalow has been renovated. We are in no doubt they will look amazing once they are up.

Lovely ceiling light but is just too bright
Lovely aesthetically but functionally is just too bright. Electrician was already away before I noted exactly how bright it is. Hoping it is dimmable, if not it’s an expensive ornament. Would love to hear from others if they have tried and succeeded in adding a dimmer switch.

Looks nice but the quality could be much better
Bought it for my living room. I have to say that the ceiling light looks better in real than on picture. But disappointed about the quality of it. Poor coating of paint on shades. What's more there is some black spot from the inside of lamp shade. Tried to remove, not possible. If B&Q decided to send me the replacement of one cover, would be super. By the way,the fitting wasn't easy.

Brighter than the sun
Bought this a couple of days ago and paired it it warm light LED bulbs, but dear lord when you turn it on I'm sure you can see the light produced from space. Luckily the bulbs I got are dimmable so I'm going to have to replace the switch to turn these down, then it'll be really nice. Until then I can't really put it on at night as it burns your retinas. Looks nice though.

Perfect lighting
This light is perfect i live in a cottage so couldn't have anything low hanging and its perfectly brilliant brightness.i used the recommended bulbs, which are very bright but perfect for a room with not alot of natural light..love it good quality and looks great.

Nice light
It looks nice and quite modern on a ceiling. Great player between boring flash drums and chandelier. Six bulbs means plenty of light and if compared with dimmer it suits all lighting needs. Built is not excellent but still good or very good. Little imperfections are not easily noticeable once on the ceiling.

Nice fitting but issue with bulbs
We got this fitting about 2 years ago and it looks great in our kitchen, however it costs me a fortune in bulbs. We use a branded low energy LED bulb, and this uses 6 of them. For some reason, once one bulb goes they all seem to follow and although I always keep a couple of spares in, I now have to keep 6 at a time, as they all seem to go within a few weeks.

Overall pleased with this, however there are buts.
Looked good in the store so bought one. Fitting dead easy and it looked just as good back home. A few grumbles though. 1. One of the female threads the small screws that hold the unit to the ceiling bracket screw into was faulty meaning it could not be tightened up fully; stripped thread (and no, I didn't overtighten it). OK the unit won't fall off but it's a tad loose on one side. 2. Although fitting the unit to the ceiling and wiring up was relatively easy, attaching the glass globes/shades are a pain if you have big hands. I've never thought as my hands being particularly large but I could not get my hand inside the glass shade to enable the retaining nut to be screwed up. There's also a risk of getting a nasty cut from the rim of the shade. In the end I had no alternative other than to coerce a family member with smaller hands to do the deed.
