Works, but very scary!!
I brought two of these to catch a rat out cat had kindly hidden in our kitchen. Placed peanut butter on trap and nearly took my fingers off trying to set them. One of the traps got the little bugger that night!! They work but OMG they make your heart race trying to put them down without hurting you...

Tempted to write something obscene
This is useless, too sensitive, the retaining bar slips out of the bait pedal too easily. MInd you fingers if you are stupid enough to buy this.Good to see that the wooden base is made from sustainable forests.

Pants!
Bought this Saturday returned it Sunday! Trap springs at the slightest movement! Finger trapped once! Plastic trigger too small, too smooth will not hold safely. Bait plate sits at about 40 degs. As soon as placed on floor "Bang" start again. Not recommended!
