thistle plaster
I didn't realise until it was open a few days why it was going off very quickly then I looked at the date on the side it was over a month out of date no wonder it kept going off before I could use it very disappointed with it

Good bulk filler.
I don't find this any use at all for finishing but use this mixed thickly as a bulk filler for larger gaps & holes. Sets like granite & much easier to mix than sand & cement. My ratings are for use as a bulk filler.

Wall plastering
Worked a treat easy to mix to correct consistency as directed on bag filled in the holes in my wall very easily

Gritty plaster that takes ages to go off
Stay clear of this if you expect a good surface finish, when mixed you can feel very coarse particles of grit in the mix, and the plaster gives a very rough finish similar to many bonding coat plasters. Just about impossible to get any sort of decent finish, probably why the makers suggest "sanding" to finish the job, ha ha laughable! Stick to "finer" grade products for repairs,patching, chase filling etc.

Brilliant stuff, covered extremely well. Would definitely recommend this product.

Only good for patching
No good for any job of a larger size, mainly due to the very short working life. The product is very coarse and begins to go off in the bucket after only a few minutes. Also quite expensive compared to normal multi-finish.

Good for on the spot repairs
Redecorating the whole living room and after stripping the paper it became obvious I needed to repair holes where the black mortar had come off with the paper. I used the one coat plaster before and this time it did another great job even on larger patches. In fact once I had finished it looked like had done all the wall. Would use it again for any small to medium jobs.
