Tap & die sets
Tap & die sets are used to cut internal and external threads onto pieces of metal, enabling them to be screwed together. Typically used by mechanics and metalworkers, the tap part to the set is used to create the internal thread whilst the die part is used to create a thread on the outer surface of a cylindrical rod. Dies are great for extending the thread on bolts. These sets offer great features such as self-centring mechanisms for straight and accurate thread cutting.
