Mitre saws

Mitre saws make precise, angled cuts in wood, laminate and even sheet metals. Commonly used for cutting framing, skirting and moulding, they're capable of extremely accurate, clean cuts. Compound mitre saws cut using a large round blade that pivots on an arm. This arm can be adjusted to achieve different mitres and bevels. Sliding mitre saws can cut similar angles, but the saw head is mounted on a rail and slid backwards and forwards so that it can tackle larger pieces of timber. Features like pre-set mitre stops and laser cutting guides help to make usage simple and keep accuracy high.
