Nice toilet but cistern not working properly
I bought this toilet as it matched the wash hand basin I already had. Our plumber came and fitted it in our new bathroom, some time after purchase as we are renovating an old property so the bathroom wasn't ready straight away. The toilet looks really good - horrible toilet seat which we threw away, but the cistern doesn't work properly. Having got the plumber to come out again to take a look, I was informed that the cistern will need replacing - though I'm not entirely sure what is wrong with it. Basically, it won't flush with any force and the handle just spins right round. I am a bit disappointed but haven't bothered to ask for a replacement as it's probably too late now

Works well enough
It is clean and effective and flushes well into modern drainage. It has a large base which covered the hole left by the previous unit and saved a lot of making good. The syphon is not the best and the short flush if the handle is held down is particularly erratic. There is no separate internal or external overflow, but if the syphon is set shorter than the height of the handle it will perform that function. The plastic nuts cannot even be tightened by hand as hard as is natural but still achieve a good seal. To my surprise this is the first close-coupled toilet I have been able to assemble without leaks. The cheap syphon is the main reason it's only four stars, but at least it is a syphon and not a horrible leak-prone drop valve.

I bought this as opposed to dual flush to minimise any install issues plus the style closely matches my current toilet

This is a lovely traditional toilet great quality
I bought this last month and I love it. Just what I wanted looks really expensive this is a traditional timeless toilet that will look great for years to come

Nice toilet poor, cheap inner workings
I bought rhia toilet to go into our victorian bathroom. Whilst the toilet itself is nice the inner workings are cheap and only produce a half flush. We have had to buy additional internal flush system to make sure this is flushing properly
