Can’t clean
This cleaner was bought back on the 18/12/2024 as a special offer in Lidl . We did not use it till this week March 2025 only to discover that we cannot clean it out and all the fluff from the rugs is stuck in the front compartment of machine & impossible to remover .. this machine is not for purpose ..

Vax cleaner
Good wee cleaner but after 2 times using the clean water tank is leaking and also it is impossible to clean it properly by brushes under the plastic top which I think will eventually cause it to mark carpets .. sorry I cant return it now very disappointed as is constructed properly so ease to clean would have been a good wee cleaner .

Definately not great
I have tried to clean a rug (short pile) in the lounge, despite going over it twice did not clean satisfactorily. After the first attempt dried and was vacuumed it looked worse! The problem is in my opnion the suction head is not heavy enough and does not suck up the water well at all. Eventually I took the rug outside and used another carpet cleaning solution and my high pressure cleaner. I then used the Vax to suck up the water but literally had to go down on my knees to push the suction head down to get a satisfactory suction of water. I also have the small Vax carpet cleaner for small areas, this works well because it is hand pressure pushing the suction head down.

Carpet cleaner
I was just wondering if this is suitable for hard floors too? Or is it just for carpets. Thank you

Very disappointed
I bought this some time back. I put all the tools that came with it in the supplied bag and hung them up. The vax is used to wash/clean the carpet every so often no problem. Today I decided to use the fabric tool to give my recliner the once over. I could not find a way to connect it to the vax and got the manual out. I have never used it before. Firstly it has a different appearance to the pictures and it does not fit…it’s the wrong connector !!! It’s too late for me to do anything about it now but it seems clear to me that the box must have been opened (perhaps a returned item) and the wrong parts put in the box. Searching this web site I cannot find the necessary tools to buy. I’m VERY annoyed

Impossible to clean
This cleaner has worked well on the carpets but I would not recommend as it's impossible to get the gunk and bits of carpet out of the tiny space where the hose goes into the plastic cover. I've even tried bottle brushes and blasting it with the hose but it doesn't budge and now it's all clogged up and the hose has come out while I was trying to clean it. Terrible design

DO NOT BUY
This cleaner keeps tripping the electrics, wished I’d read reviews before buying as their seems to be a lot stating it trips your electric when using it. Would never buy a vax product again, waste of money!!!!!

Problems encountered
Carpet cleaner worked brilliantly the first two times I used it and then everytime since it has tripped the electric and stopped working completely! Have tried absolutely everything and am still encountering electrical faults
