This telescopic pole control is ideal if you want to operate Velux GGL/GGU centre pivot manual roof windows that are out of reach. It can also be used on Velux blinds, but we recommend that you attach an adaptor (ZOZ 085) to each blind prior to use.

Manual rod to open not included
The rod to open manually if the skylight can’t be reached isn’t included but they don’t tell you that in the description and they don’t tell the contractor who places the order for the skylight. Apparently that’s too hard? Be aware you don’t know what they aren’t telling you.

Dissappointed
We had two of he Venetian Blinds for skylights installed a few weeks ago. Compared to the older model operation of the blinds we are disappointed. The old operation you could crank the blind up and down. You could partially open the blind, close it or open it all the way. It was positive connected with the hook and everything was controlled by the crank. With the new style, you have to fit the hook they designed into the loop and push open or push and pull closed. If you want the blinds open or closed you have to try to locate the side slide piece and then push or pull it. From the distance you have to operate the control is not easy to do. Wish they would have continued the old style blinds. They were easier to operate. For older people the new operation is more difficult.
