Good quality, difficult electrical connection
This is a good quality fan. I bought it as a replacement for a failed fan of another make and mechanically it was easy to install. But electrically, the screw terminals inside are very, very small. As an electrical engineer I know that they are adequate for the electrical duty but when you are on your knees in a loft space, straddling the joists, sweat running into your eyes with a head torch, it is almost impossible to make the connections. The screw terminal needs to be bigger, not for its electrical duty, but to make it physically easier to make the terminations.

Does what it's meant to do
Got one recently & am happy with it so far. A little noisy, but that can be lowered by removing the flaps on the fan, can be used without timer function & works well as a constant extractor fan

Very noisy
Fitted into a ducted system. Much louder than the previous fan.

Does what is says' on the tin!
Extractor with timer. Other larger extractors appear not to have timer / overrun circuits, or fit to existing 100mm piping. Easy to install. The supplied fixing screws are to big for the fixing slots - else very good, jsut a quiet a failed unit.
