Verve ericaceous compost is perfect for acid soil loving plants. With added iron it promotes greener, healthier leaves.
- Our ericaceous compost has been specially tested and formulated to ensure your acid loving plants flourish and grow in the garden - feeding for up to 6 weeks
- Composition - coir, wood fibre and bark
- To re-pot a plant, water well 1-2 hours before re-potting. Before opening the bag, loosen compacted compost and make sure the contents are well mixed. Add a layer of compost to a slightly larger pot. Gently remove plant from pot. Pop plant into the larger pot and top up with compost. Lightly firm the compost with your fingertips and water. WE RECOMMEND: Take care when watering and avoid waterlogging. Check a few centimeters below the surface of the compost, if it is moist no watering is required. For smaller pots, the weight of the pot is a good indicator of its moisture content. For best results use a liquid feed to maximise flowering. When using fertilisers follow the recommended dosing instructions.

Great product for the acidic soil we need
Seem like the only place we could find ericaceous compost. Now just a waiting game to see great produce from the compost use.

Ericaceous compost in small handy size.
I bought this as I was buying an azalea which needs ericaceous compost. I have used this in a garden pot. The compost was moist without being too wet. So far although early days the azalea is looking healthy. I am not able to lift the big bags which would have been too much for my needs but this small size was ample for what I needed & I lifted it easily.

Bit disappointed
Bit disappointed with this compost ordered 4 20L bags each one was full of water making the bags very heavy hopefully this is just a one off
