This lawn seed is ideal for shaded areas & reduces surface water flooding. For an even spread, simply by hand or by spreader. On average, it has a total coverage of 20m².
- Suitable season - Autumn & spring
- For shaded areas & reduces surface water flooding
- Instructions for use: Clear weeds or old turf. Ensure roots of perennial weeds are completely removed. Dig or rotovate to a depth of 20-25cm. Tread over the area several times to firm it then rake several times in different directions to level, removing any large stones. Apply pre-turf fertiliser to the surface and lightly rake in. Shake the packaging to thoroughly mix the seeds. Sprinkle evenly over the soil surface at the recommended sowing rate. Ideally the soil surface should be dry but the soil below moist. Lightly rake the seeds in to the soil.

Wasn’t the best unfortunately. Not a single grain grew. I watered etc but yeh, wouldn’t waste your money.

The stuff just doesn’t work at all!
The seeds are for basically two areas of shaded lawn, which have become soil - they are grass less. No matter how much seed was used, or how well it was tended, there has been absolutely no sign of green.

Seeds for shade
I bought these seeds to determine whether they would green a heavily shaded area under a stand of tall trees. They were planted a month ago and the results have been good. I am now going to progress with the rest of that section of my garden

Perfect grass

Verve Shady Grass Seed
Purchased this last month, sowed the seeds and they are beginning to germinate despite the wet weather and lack of a warm spell. Doing what it is supposed to do in a very shady area.
