Absolute Bargain
Got this on OAP Wednesday for £4 so with discount it only cost £3.60. Does the job of splitting logs ready for the chiminera.

verve axe
just cut 100 logs for the fire with ease rubber blade protector and head cover.all good. at £14 its a bargain

makes bits of wood into smaller bits of wood.
does what it's supposed to. The ridged handle is very harsh on your hands. shaft is unnervingly bendy. but its £14 so can't complain too much.

surprisingly good
Only had this a few days but I've chopped up a 60 foot tree that I'd cut into slices. I didn't expect much for 14 quid but it was really good and has kept its edge. My only complaint would be that the head is a bit light but otherwise I'm happy with it.

Having only split a few logs in last winter ...
After last years log splitting I thought I would use my green axe ( fibreglass.) Two swings in it felt strange. After inspection I notice there was A slight crack behind the head of the axe.. I applied a very small amount of twist and the head fell off! Thought this would last longer than that. The axe has been stored in doors too!
