It is a underlay
I bought this product as they were the best balance between prince and quality. It looks good, though I am not sure how to compare to other products, as it is the same all over the house.

Easy way to lay floors.
Couldn’t have gotten the flooring done without this underlay. The floor in this old house needed some TLC. This helped smooth out the ruts thus leaving it easier to complete the floor making it look amazing everyone has commented on the finished room.

Excellent product.
Really easy to work with. Gives just enough protection from water for underfloor use. Foam is good quality too.

It feels warm to touch and has a self adhesive tab, which is very helpful . It cuts easily and covers a well.
