What it doesn't tell you...
Inside the packing in tiny print are the instructions which give a minimum load. From memory this is 50W for the 400W dimmer. If used on very low load, say 4 5W leds, the control only works on a small range and cuts out on the lower half of the travel. THIS INFO SHOULD BE ON THE OUTSIDE and B&Q should sell low W dimmers as well as these.

faulty after 2 days
I added this switch onto a spot light with 3xGU10 7W LED bulbs. It worked really nicely for two days. The dimming was very smooth and it dimmed right down to almost off. Now has no range and just goes from light to dark in one step and flickers when on dark. taking it off to return.

2nd one now let me down!
I recently purchased my second one of these switches as the first one had let me down outside of the warranty period. The replacement has now stopped functioning after just a month. Will be going back for a refund.
