It did the job but be prepared for a long job.
We have a house with horrible woodchip and were worried about removing it, so gave this a try. It really does look so much better. It will need painting though and this is one of the issue. The bark effect is difficult to paint, You can't get the paint into the pattern easily and you are going to need at least 2-3 coats of a pale coloured paint and probably more or a darker one to stop little flacks of white showing through. It also tears easily when wet but that is easily covered up when hanging.

Excellent paper
Quality paper that hides a multitude of sins especially in older houses. Have used this several times before. Easy to hang and then paint.

Doesn’t do what it says!
Doesn’t cover the bumps on my wall that my previous wallpaper did. Plus, a couple of rolls were a different texture, despite the batch numbers being the same.

Covers bumps but scuffs easily.
I bought this wallpaper because we have uneven walls. The coverage was great and you can't see the unevennees. However, the wallpaper scuffs quite easily. I had caught it twice before I had even finished painting. I also mangaged to scuff it with a roll of wrapping paper. If you touch up the paint you can see the scuffs but you may not want to be regularly touching up your paintwork. Definitely would not recommend it for a high traffic area. Also, due to the texture, it was hard to paint a dark colour and I had to go over it. Getting a straight line on.

Does what it says it does
Applied this over woodchip as could not face stripping it. Worked really well. Used a ready mix Solvite heavy duty paste and irt stuck well. Would not use without emulsion painting over it afterwards after a few days to allow the paste to dry. Pity there is not a greater range of textures but we are pleased with the end result anyway.

Really impressed
Living in a very old crumbling cottage without a straight or flat wall is a challenge. So after much uming and arring I gave this wall covering a try. It went in a dream, covered all the various wall problems exceptionally well and despite my reservation on the bark pattern, looks really nice. It was a sod to paint as it’s very textured but is 100% effective. I’m so pleased with the results I’ve used the same product in three rooms so far. As for the reviews about it being hard to pattern match, there isn’t one! Didn’t match my old wallpaper, ermmm not the products fault I will and have recommended this to anyone Please Graham and brown do some more finishes in this range, a knitted pattern would work well ie Aran or alike
