A must buy

I love how the Weber burger press shapes the burgers. What I do is use hamburger patty paper in the fiberglass to shape my burgers and lift it up with a spatula. I allow my burgers to cool overnight before I grill them. Before I shape my burgers I season them and allow them to cool overnight and once they have chilled I take them out and shape them into a ball and place them on the bottom and press it to shape it using patty paper. It really works when you do it this way. I love how it takes shape. Really worth buying and it’s something that will really last and give quality results.

Makes a nice burger!

Easy to use, used a little cooking spray. Actually takes a little more than 1/2 pound to make that size, but who would complain about a bigger burger. The burger maintained it’s shape on the grill too.

Great help for a barbecue.

Excellent size. Sturdy press. Pattie’s are uniformly perfect. Cleans up nicely in dish washer.

Looks like a good idea

I had a gathering, my husband requested homemade hamburger versus the boxed. Small gathering this is fine but with getting the decks and outdoor furniture ready after winter it’s a lot of work. Since I needed to order another chimney starter because we gave our last to my SIL. I saw the hamburger maker and thought it would speed up the process. Not so much! I fought it the whole way, threw it in the sink and started making them by hand. The meat sticks, and falls apart after about 4-5 burgers. The dent it creates does not prevent shrinking. This was a waste of money and my time. Sorry Weber!

Great burger patties

Works really well and makes nicely shaped patties that are the right size for grilling and standard buns. The meat sometimes sticks to the base, so that could be improved.

Birthday Burger Press

This is a birthday present for my husband who has wanted a burger press for about 6 months. Now he can make all the burgers that he wants to!

Cat's Meow!

I bought this thing on a lark after my sister-in-law made snide comments about my "meatloaf burgers." She called them that because I never seemed to be able to make a round burger. Well, this little gadget solved that problem. The burgers come out of the press nice and round, and of uniform thickness. Cleanup up is easy: I just toss it on the dishwasher's top rack. A suggestion for using it: if you have a lot of burgers to make spray a little cooking spray pn the surfaces that come in contact with the meat so the burgers don't stick. Doing that made it easy to get the burger out of the press without it breaking in two.

Burger Press

This is one of those products where a company that has a great reputation just rides that wave straight into a wall. I'm sure this thing came straight out of China to the stores without a second thought. How about an instruction/tip-sheet guys. There is a learning curve on anything. Help us out over here. I've eaten 1000's of burgers but never actually formed one. I finally got it worked out after digging it out of the trash a few times.
