Good, but they is a few damaged/bent ones on the shelfs so check before you buy

The product itself was good - it ticked all the boxes one would expect from lengths of 15mm copper tube. The big problem was the amount of damaged stock I had to sift through to find sound, straight and undamaged tube. I know copper is soft but I bought four 3m lengths and "discarded" at least six bent or crushed items. You could say not my problem except who ultimately will pay for carelessly handled stock...you and me.

BS EN 1057 is the standard that provides the basis for the assessment of a manufacturer's production process for products manufactured in accordance with this European Standard. The assessment could be based on initial and continuing surveillance of the factory production control system which could be concurrent with an assessment of the manufacturer's quality management system against EN ISO 9001.
Regulatory marking and the means by which regulatory marking is applied, is also covered in BS EN 1057.
Tubes having an outside diameter of not more than 108 mm are suitable for soldering, brazing or assembling by mechanical compression, collared, push-fit or press fittings. For tubes having an outside diameter of more than 108 mm, assembly should preferably be performed by welding or braze welding
So why are B&Q calling this compression copper tube?
