Tasteless Tomatoes
I used several different types of grow bags last year. All tomatoes grown in these were utterly tasteless, the same tomatoes grown in my other grow bags were sweet and delicious. What a total waste of time and money!

Terrible
My tomatoes were all tasteless and floury compared to the same tomatoes that turned out beautifully in other grow bags.

Great for growing tomatoes in
Bought this, open at the side and stand on end so deeper for tomatoes - growing well and sturdy, buying more as much better than other grow bags 27L ones I bought for other veggies which keep drying out.

Poor product
Beware! This is a really poor product! Apart from the fact that it is much smaller than a conventional Tomato growbag, the compost in it is awful! I usually use tomato growbag compost in plant pots for my tomatoes rather than plant the tomatoes directly into the growbag. On putting the compost from these bags into the plant pots it didn't seem too bad (not fantastic, but not too bad) but, as soon as the surface of the compost dried out slightly, it looked truly awful, very much like the sweepings up in a hairdressers!! It seems like they have put any old rubbish in the compost - apart from peat of course!! The surface of the compost looks so bad, that I have had to hide it with a "mulch" of regular compost! I have yet to see how the tomato plants fare... Unfortunately, with Covid-19 restrictions this year, I didn't really have much choice of available tomato compost. I used to faithfully buy New Horizon Organic Tomato growbags a few years ago, because they were organic, peat free, and a fantastic product! These are nothing like those bags, and I shall certainly avoid in the future.

Not a grow bag
Hi, ordered online during Covid times - having fruitelssly spent periods queuing at stores in the hope of buying grow bags - only to find none in stock. Went online to find grow bags in my area - B&Q site indicated they had them in a store a 40 minute drive from me. Ordered online - went to store - spent 40 minutes queuing to get in to collect. Despite there being no queue for click and collect, it took 20 minutes for these "grow bags " to be brought to me, and a further 5 or so for my refund to be processed. When I informed an unfriendly member of staff that these were not grow bag sized (these will not fit any B&Q grow bag trays you may have bought in the past or, a Hozelock growbag waterer, for example). She didn't seem very happy with this, and told me the dimensions were given on the website, they are not (as of 21/05/20). Westland do produce grow bags - they label those as grow bags, they have standard grow bag dimensions. Westland refer to this item as a 'planter', it's dimensions are quite different. A standard grow bag is approx 95cm long- this is approx 60cm. This is also wider than a standard grow bag. Inaccurate website description, slow, unfriendly, inaccurate staff = 2.5hrs wasted. I'm sure the product adequately fulfils its description as a planter - however, this is a one star review as it's not as described on the website.
