Infested with fly eggs!
Bought recently to pot-on numerous cacti and aloe vera. While the plants are doing well, the soil is obviously infested with eggs because our home has been filled with flies in every room that has a re-potted plant. I have reported this directly to Westland too because looking at the reviews it's a common problem.

GNATS
Brought fresh last week, bag didn’t state that it came with bugs too! Full of gnats do not buy it will kill your plants get soil of Etsy instead!

Awful product - full of fungus gnats
Bought, and put in cupboard in hall (no other compost in there). Noticed small flies in house and couldn’t work were coming from few days later. Couple weeks later went to get compost and realised it was source of hundreds of little flies and when opened bag was cloud of fungus gnats. Had to bin. Definitely avoid

Tiny fly eggs in soil
I bought some of this soil and had to return it as my house became infested with tiny flys.(gnats) I presume the soil was contaminated with some kind of larvae. It’s put me off buying that brand again.

Great Product for repotting succulents
I've used this potting mix before never had any problems. I would recommend & use again.
