Great value great product
Saw the bad reviews on this, Bought this as a cheap alternative more just to cover horrible paint so knew it would need a few coats 2 coats and it's brilliant no patches. When you are applying it it looks patch and transparent but once it dries it dries white I think most have written reviews before letting it dry.

Utter rubbish
I bought this to repaint my diner (bare plaster with applied primer). Difficult to apply, very poor bonding to the primer and had to do 3 coats to get it OK-ish. Should have made some more research as this is just wasting my time.

Poor coverage, hard to use
Not at all easy. 1. Thoroughly stir the paint all the way through - even separates out whilst in the paint tray, so push your roller right through the paint. 2. Let dry completely before painting over with a second coat - roll once, then move to the next piece. If not totally dry the bottom layer just comes off onto your roller. 3. Buy a better quality paint. This was very hard work to use, intiially looked like we were painting with skimmed milk. Having said all that coverage (in the end) with 2 coats on. But not a great experience

Awful
Needed a lot of paint on a low budget but it really wasn’t cost effective at all, barely covers anything

No issues - good for a basic paint
I read some of the poor reviews for this product and was sceptical. But I only needed it for a cheap primer to use over fresh plaster, so went ahead and bought it. Now that I’ve covered the walls and ceiling with it, I’m tempted to leave the ceiling and not bother with the top coat. OK, it took a few coats, but there is nothing wrong with the finish whatsoever.

i get that its cheap but....
we got this to start decorating our extension as we needed a base paint and i am shocked at just how poor this paint is, let's put it this way it wouldn't cover your carpet if you knocked the tub over.....we are now into our 5th coat over the ceiling and walls and every time you stat fresh coat it shows up the the filler in the walls under the previous coat even the water in the tap is jealous at just how thin this is spend an extra few quid and get a decent paint

Perfect straight on plaster
We bought to go straight on plaster. Perfect with excellent coverage. Haven't tried it over other paint - we bought Dulux for that and so far 3 coats to cover a light green/grey isn't enough.

Awful paint
Very thin, needs several coats just to cover magnolia! Basically you get what you pay for. Now have a full tub of paint that won't be used (waste - thank goodness for paint recycling centres) and I need to go and buy a new tin of paint so more cost!!!
