Good quality dowel rod
This fluted 8mm dowling was consistent in diameter and shows good strength so my extra long dowels were easy to produce and have resulted in a high quality assembly.

Excellent quality wood
The sticks are solid and do not break. The only downside is the label, as it leaves glue residue that doesn't want to come off even with Isopropyl alcohol.
