It was a great purchase but there was one flow

When it comes to dinner plunge cut, you have to cut all the way along the line and then stop, and using a normal saw you cut it wood directly down to get clean cut. After all the saw is round so it will never cut straight down and I'll leave you with an arc.

Manificent Tool

Set the depth gauge to 15mm and cut a piece of wood 15mm deep which I placed on top of another piece of wood, cut all the way through and did not even scratch the lower wood, amazing

Does what it says on the tin.

For a novice DIY-er i found it very easy to use. Ive used other hand saws previously and found this was a breeze!!!

Read the manual

the first time I changed a blade I didn't get the washer next to the blade in the correct position and blade stopped whilst motor ran. It also takes some getting used to that the blade tightening feature has a left hand thread. However that said keep the instructions close and you won't go wrong. Worked a treat making neat cuts on floorboards, much tidier cuts than a much larger saw. I think it is a good buy for those smaller jobs it has led torch and a laser guide, excellent for cutting to miss nails. Nice safe little tool.

This is an excellent tool at currently one of the best prices around including delivery (£90) Whilst some may find the tool quite chunky, I found it to be of perfect size. Yes there are some H&S features on it that are a bit fiddly (though not that annoying) but better that than a missing hand! The unit is compact and can be used in areas where a normal sized circular saw may be unsuitable. Useful information that I only found by contacting the company direct (WORX) is that the blade Kerf is 1.2mm, which is a much thinner cut than most blades for standard circular saws that are available (that I have found for a reasonable price) The Unit does get quite hot after a while, but this understandable and is covered in the instructions, and clearly you should let the tool cool down before continuing. I found this perfect for cutting tongues of T&G boards so that I could take them up without smashing though them, given the thin blade.

Nice little bit of kit..

This item isn't too big or clumsy to use. I don't have the biggest or strongest hands (being female) but i found it easy to hold and operate. I used it to cut through 7mm laminate flooring no probs and some 12mm mdf and plywood also no problems. The blades were easy to change and the metal cutting blade cut through some shelving supports easily. I haven't tried the the tile cutting blade yet. Given that it comes with three blades and a nice carry case i think it is good value for money and felt sturdy and not cheap.
