Polished floor tiles get their luxurious surface by diamond disks buffing a layer of polish onto each tile. This process makes each tile sparkle, and when laid in your home, is what will create the illusion of increased space and light. A polished floor tile has different standards of polish, known as semi-polished floor tiles and lappato floor tiles, which emit a lighter polished surface.
