Fuel cans are invaluable not just when you run out of petrol or diesel, but also when you need to purchase fuel for off-road bikes, lawnmowers, cultivators, generators and other machinery. You'll notice that petrol cans are green and labelled 'petrol' whilst diesel cans are black and labelled 'diesel'. This helps to avoid any confusion about the fuel stored in each type of container.
