The door itself is exactly what it says, it's seems good enough and fitted it without many problems. The biggest issue I had was delivery, it arrived eventually 3 days late and when it arrived it was broken, scuffed, dented and chipped. So if you want this door, collect it yourself.

Poor Quality

In the two pictures the glazing is a different style with different patterns. If you want a standard size door go to owdens alot better quality.

I bought these and have painted them white if you use a shellac or similar primer they come out fine, no knots, the glazing is covered in a plastic film so this masks the glass till finished. However when you remove the plastic you will notice at the bottom of the glass an etched safety number, it spoils the Finnish unfortunately I didn't dee this until I'd finished painting so I'll live with it, it's a shame

Great door!

Because I live in a cottage I purchased the solid wood doors because I would need to add or remove wood from all the doors I purchased. Fitting the doors mostly entailed removing wood from the top, sides and in two cases the middle. Although B&Q instructions recommended only a very little wood be removed so my greatest fear was either breaking the glass or ending up with some very expensive fire wood. The doors passed all my expectations in all respects. On one door I had to remove 301mm from its overall height, the door treated this way had wood removed from top, bottom and middle which left only 10mm above the glass and 10mm under the bottom panels and approximately 20mm in the middle. I performed this miracle by first removing a 20mm strip from the sides before removing the remaining wood then re-attaching the two strips to hold what remained of the door together with glue and screws. I expected all the glued joints to blow but only one showed any sign of doing so. This joint was re-glued and is now performing excellently. All of the seven doors I purchased took the wood stain I used perfectly and all look brilliant.
I do not recommend you to follow my example but I just had to let everybody know that it is possible to remove so much wood and still have a working door at the end of it.
