This is one of the three doors I bought from B and Q. It's wooden. It looks quite nice. I'll have to put some oil, or wax, or paint on it. I haven't decided which yet. The internet is full of so many options for door coatings I guess I'm at the paralysis through analysis stage. One of my friends thinks I should oil it. I'm going to ask a sample of 5 people before I make a decision.

There is a slight thinning of the wood on the upper right panel. You can see light through it. You could say it adds character. I'm thinking of drawing a faint smiley face on this bit, so it looks kinda spooky.

I made myself several cups of tea as I watched Mr Jones measure, saw, plane, hang, re-measure, re-saw, re-plane, re-hang, swear, re-re-plane, re-re-hang* the door. It opens, and it shuts. I opened and shut it repeatedly (to check it worked). It's great! Thanks door. Thdoor.

* This isn't a fault with the door, such activities would need to happen with any new door.
