buy cheap you get cheap

I bought this as part of a bathroom furniture suite for a complete bathroom renovation just over a year ago. looked great when first fitted.
However the Steam and heat from the bathroom has caused the cheap wood to warp and distort, Unfortunately bathrooms do get hot and damp.
I am going to have to remove this and hopefully adapt the fixings to fit flat again Or rip it out and start again with better quality unit. I suggest you look elsewhere unless you want to do the job again in 12 months.
Let down by poor internal fittings

There are three main problems with this unit. Firstly, the top is secured by standard furniture cam locking nuts which cannot be undone easily at the rear when the cistern is in place, so you have to be sure the cistern isn't ever going to need repairing before sealing the unit up. Secondly, the large central front panel is held on by clips that require you to pull it forwards to release it, so if you don't leave an unsightly gap between the unit and the toilet, you'll never remove it again. Thirdly, and this is the main problem, the plastic brackets that the panels clip into are designed to be held by screws with flat-bottomed heads, and whoever designed this unit foolishly threw in countersunk screws that split the brackets' screw holes apart and shatter them (see photo). If you insist on buying this unit I would suggest that (1) you don't lock the rear cam nuts so you can remove the lid if necessary, (2) you replace the large panel's fasteners with "Keku Drop On/Hook On Push in Plinth Fasteners" so it can be lifted out, and (3) for the other panels, fit small metal washers between the screws and the plastic brackets to spread the load across the surface and prevent them splitting.

What a disappointment.
One piece was cracked, and a side piece chipped. Why pack a damaged product?
Flimsy construction, impractical top design as there is no option to get at the cistern as the top is fixed.
Thin chip board, side edges not covered so could easily absorb water should any leaks occur.
All in all a very poor product.
Now I've got to return it for a refund.
Ok... but could have been better designed

Ok unit, but needs to be better designed to gain access to any cistern or plumbing....I replaced top 'cam' fittings with blocks so that top could be easily slid off and replaced main panel catches with 'Keku clips' so that main panel can also be slid out enabling access to the cistern and/or plumbing without having to move toilet pan. Its worth noting that it will not fit exactly flush up to the ardenno draw unit since the top of each unit has a lip on the side and prevents the units being tied exactly up to each other with connecting bolts (unless you use a spacer panel). It would have been an excellent value unit if a little more thought had been put into the design for easy access and compatibility of the units. Similarly...If tiling above the units make sure you allow space to remove top without having to disturb tiles. The unit has plenty of space for working on the plumbing and cistern although the protrusion with a normal depth toilet pan is considerable. Overall I would recommend the unit but it could have gained 5* if the design had been a little user friendly. With any toilet cistern it is highly likely that ease of access from the top and front will eventually be required.
Good toilet unit

Went together easily with the C&L Tyler toilet. Only problem was that one panel had to be replaced at the end because there was a scratch that could only be seen once the protective film was removed.
