This was a roll I needed to complete a job. The match was perfect.

After a few attempts with walls out of true ,finnaly finished job looks good

Forget batch numbers to match colour and tone. The pattern on the same roll doesn't even match itself when you come to line up the next drop. Also, the roll width varies between rolls, so if you need to pull down a strip to redo it, you could end up with a gap. Finally, the paper goes like crepe paper when wet, and doesn't always flatten out again once dry.
