Not fit for exercise
StephenTsd - 11 days ago
The tiles go down well enough, depends on how you want to use them, i have them in my garage for a gym area theyre ok if you’re not moving about much but you start doing any jumping around, it gives way at the joints and rises up. What won’t have helped though and this may be the reason, is that the different batches arent they same cut, they dont fit together properly so if you’re doing an area for a gym or heavy walking area, make sure they all have the same batch number
Has anyone else experienced a spring in the tiles?

We bought this flooring as gym flooring for our log cabin. When we first laid it looked good, but over the course of the day has sprung like a banana. I'm really confused why so few people have mentioned this issue and wonder whether this is a thermal expansion issue.

I bought 2 packs for my workshop, they went down really well and no problems at all. After reading the reviews I was a bit concerned but decided to take a chance anyway and I'm glad I did, well worth the price

Bought this product during second lockdown to lay in garage for 'home gym'. Really pleased with purchase as it was just what I was looking for. Easy to put together and provides good surface for exercises. Good value for money.
Ok but faulty tiles

At the price you don’t expect them to be the rolls rolyce of floor tiles but you do expect them to be free of faults.
Like many other reviews 5 were fine and 1 was damaged on the face plus 1 of the 6 didn’t fit together with the rest very well although it did finally fit together with some pulling about.
I think I’m like most others and will just use them as they are instead of the trip back to replace them and the hassles of returning them which is probably what B&Q thought too.
They wouldn’t accept a faulty £20 note to pay for them so why should we accept they are faulty and just use them? Just easier I guess but that doesn’t make it right.
