I bought this fire surround a month ago which I saw only on line before it was delivered, trusting it would be okay. Service was excellent as I received a phone call from Be Modern later the same day of order, to say they had received my order and that it would be delivered in 10 days which it was, with a prior 70 hour notice if date unsuitable. The two men that delivered it, could not have been more helpful either, placing it where I thought best and removing all the outer protection which they took away.
The surround is of a heavy solid marble which has now been fitted in place. Fitting instructions seemed simple and I was surprised how stylish, elegant and expensive it looks. I am really pleased with my purchase and would recommend the 'Midland' to all.
I also bought the £145 'Focal Point' Electric Fire in Brass to go with it which I am really pleased with and they both look great together.

Bought this item on line on Wednesday and it was delivered the following Tuesday. Beautiful fireplace, excellent value for money and looks absolutely fantastic, I'm really thrilled with it. It was also less than half the price of similar fireplaces I'd looked at.

Total DIY 'have a go and hope for the best' but over the moon with the finished result. really sets off our newly refurbished lounge. Viewed the item in store prior to ordering on line and is every bit as attractive as ones double the price
